PUBLIC JOINT STOCK COMPANY “JOINT STOCK COMPANY – COMMERCIAL BANK “CAPITAL” is one of the first Ukrainian commercial banks founded in Donbas region over twenty years ago.

PJSC “JSCCB “CAPITAL” was founded on June 01, 1991, in the form of the limited liability company and registered with the National Bank of Ukraine on October 31, 1991.

The bank performs its activity in accordance with the international standards of business and financial relations in the sphere of rendering banking services, external trade and crediting. The bank is a member of the Association of the Ukrainian Banks, a member of the VISA International payment system, a member of the Ukrainian and international currency markets, Western Union, Money Gram, ANELIC, AVERS.

Since September 02, 1999, the bank has been a member of the DEPOSIT INSURANCE FUND (Registration No. 029). The bank has two filial agencies and 53 branches.

According to “Banker” magazine, in 2009, CAPITAL BANK became the winner in the “Most technological bank” nomination.

IBI-Rating Agency has determined the credit rating of PJSC “JSCCB “CAPITAL” at the uaBBB level with the stable estimate. The uaBBB rating characterizes the bank as rather solvent in comparison with other Ukrainian borrowing entities or security instruments. The stable estimate indicates that the rating changes are unlike to happen within the following year.

On April 29, 1995, according to the decision of the General Meeting of Shareholders, the bank was reformed into OPEN JOINT STOCK COMPANY “JOINT STOCK COMPANY – COMMERCIAL BANK “CAPITAL”.

On October 20, 2010, CAPITAL BANK received the new state registration certificate as a public joint stock company.
